Description
The idol is a depiction of Lord Shiva as a divine cosmic dancer, performing a dance known as Tandav. Nataraja is a Sanskrit term - "Nata" meaning "act, drama, dance" and "Raja" meaning "king, lord"; it can be roughly translated as Lord of dance or King of dance.
